The Dayton Audio Sub-800 subwoofer is a new model in the world of home theater. This high-end audio system provides you with a wide range of powerful sounds that will satisfy and excite you. With its powerful motors, it is also capable of powering several speakers at the same time, and this is something that most home theater owners would appreciate. When it comes to home theater systems, there really isn’t anything quite like this brand of equipment.

What makes this subwoofer so unique is the fact that it is engineered by some of the best experts in the business, and this is why it produces such amazing sound. The Dayton Audio Sub-800 subwoofer is packed full of features that make it one of the best in the business. This makes it one of the most advanced and technologically advanced subwoofers that is available today. One of the best features is the fact that this subwoofer has venting in the rear. This allows air to enter the speaker system and properly push out the sound, which is what everyone wants from their sound system.

The other feature that sets the Dayton Audio Sub-800 subwoofer apart from most others is the surround sound system that it utilizes. When you add surround sound to a speaker system, you are basically allowing the listener in the room to experience the surround sound effects right along with you. This is one of the reasons why so many listeners love surround sound. It adds reality to their favorite shows and movies, and it makes the entire movie or show come alive. With this surround sound system, you are truly hearing the sounds as if they were coming directly from right in front of you in the room.

Another feature that makes the Dayton Audio SUB-800 speaker system a top choice is the fact that there are no cabinets in the back of the speakers. This allows for optimal performance even in the smallest room. What makes this possible is the fact that there is no dead zone in a room; each speaker can play in its own dead zone, which means that every listener will hear exactly what he or she desires. The only problem with some systems is that there is not enough bass response to make the room feel as wide as it could be.

If you are looking for a good subwoofer, then you should consider the Dayton Audio Sub-800. There are a few things that you will want to keep in mind however, such as the fact that these subwoofers are big. If you have a small room, then you might want to think twice about putting one of these subwoofers in the room. If you have a larger room, then you might want to consider one of these subwoofers. Other features that you should consider when buying a subwoofer is that you should make sure that it comes with crossovers to let you adjust the bass response and midrange response. You also need to know that some of these models come with trunking that help to increase sound quality.

If you are someone who enjoys listening to rap and hip hop then you should look into the Dayton Audio Sub-800. This is one model that has gained in popularity because it does not use crossovers. Instead it uses separate amp channels for the different sections. This makes it very easy to change from one genre to the next.

Dayton Audio SUB-800 Subwoofer FAQ

Dayton Audio 8-inch powered subwoofer

Dayton Audio has been creating high quality audio equipment for over forty years. Their expertise in audio reproduction is what sets them apart from the competition. The Dayton Audio company produces a wide range of speaker systems including home theater, car audios and other audio products. Their wide array of speaker models comes standard in sizes to fit most car audios and home theaters. They also offer enclosures to fit every need including large enclosures for those larger systems.

Choosing a subwoofer can be very confusing. There are many brands on the market today. One way to narrow your options is to determine what you will use your subwoofer for. If you have a stereo system in your car, an isolated speaker may be enough for your needs. However, if you plan to use your subwoofer for either music or video you will want a surround sound speaker system. In addition, you will want a subwoofer with a good depth and a high power output.

After determining the type of application, size and sound that you will be using your subwoofer for, you will need to decide where to locate it. Ideally, you should place the subwoofer in the garage. A properly coordinated set up will increase the efficiency of your audio system as well as reduce the amount of feedback you receive from the enclosure. Place your subwoofer in the garage where it will not get stepped on or bounced against other equipment.

  1. I might be old, but I still enjoy listening to music, from classical to jazz. I’m not an audiophile, but I appreciate good sound… Pure bass…clear full mid-range…and plenty of piercing treble I’m a 93-year-old Electronic Engineer who has always been involved in what we used to call “high fidelity” sound. However, after the death of my beautiful wife of 65 years, I have spent the majority of my time in the office writing. To listen to music while writing, I installed a pair of Edifier R1280T speakers on one unit. The speakers are excellent… The sound was clear and full-range, but it lacked the “booming bass” that I enjoy when listening to jazz. I spent months testing subwoofers before settling on the Dayton Audio-Sub 800 8″ 80 watt subwoofer… Oh my goodness! When I finally had my speaker system equalized and the subwoofer “dialed-in” to my 12′ x 14′ office with a 10′ ceiling, I was more than pleased with my purchase. It has the capacity to fill a space twice its size. — Excellent sound quality, no distortion or rattling at high volume. If you want to improve your sound and add more bass, consider this Dayton sub.

  2. I looked online for an inexpensive device to add more bass to my Zbox SB500 sound bar, so I looked into subwoofers and found the Dayton Audio SUB-800 8-Inch 80 Watt Powered for $99.95, so I bought it. Once connected to the TV headphone with the wire that came from the soundbar, set Gain and Crossover to 3/4, you won’t believe how great music or movie listening experience you get from these two units combined, really happy and at 3/4 of Sono’s price.

    Sound is a plus.
Cons: No Basics 3.5mm to 2-Male RCA Adapter Audio Stereo Cable is included. There is no remote control that you can use.

The sound quality of the Zbox SB500 sound bar astounded me. The price was significantly lower than the Sono’s option, so I decided to give it a shot. When I got it home, I put it on top of the TV, and the sound is amazing. Volume TV is set to 8, and Blue Ray or Netflix is set to 11. The bass is fantastic. For the best sound quality, I set accuvoice to sd3, output leveling to noOL, and bass to 3. Surround to sd 3 treble HI 2. The sound is crystal clear, and the bass is above and beyond expectations. 3D sound is an added bonus; I can hear sounds with this bar that I couldn’t hear with my previous sound system while watching the same movies.

You will not be disappointed. It’s like being at a concert when you watch YouTube videos. Try out these units while watching Netflix shows. The sound is fantastic!

  3. I despise writing reviews, but this one is too interesting to pass up. I’ve had it for over 2 years and it’s moved around the country and abroad and it’s always kickin’ those low frequencies like a boss. Answer time was extremely short. Listening to sleep on this thing is proof of that. With the gain and crossover controls, you can sculpt your lower end to your liking. It looks sexy wherever you put it. And the price, OMG, lie about it to your friends because they WILL believe you. The best in the price range. Will introduce you to a whole new world of music! I’m not talking about distorted tinny things, I’m talking about THICCC bass boi.
