Yamaha Piano Keyboards

When it comes to buying a piano, there are really two main factors to consider – how much will it cost and what is it made of? Yamaha piano keyboards are no exceptions to this rule. Yamaha has long been a leading player in the world of musical instruments, and, in truth, it’s won many prestigious awards as well. If you think we are stretching your mind, take it from professional musicians such as Danny Elfman, David Bryan, Mark Burch, who have all were singing about Yamaha keyboards for years now. So whether it’s blues jazz or hip hop you need, Yamaha makes it. They are the only brand which offers both professional grade digital pianos in various sizes, with electronic keys and acoustic and grand piano keys, along with many types of keyboards and effects.

The Yamaha piano is known for its durability and solid construction. They are often used in concert halls and recording studios, because they offer excellent projection quality. They also have durability and tone that’s second to none. You can get this, in the form of a grand piano, a digital piano or even a combination piano/digital keyboard.

But do not let the size fool you. These instruments are extremely light in weight, yet surprisingly, they can produce great quality music. The Yamaha piano body is made of solid materials, yet the inner drawer is filled with the most valuable and fragile component, the thin hardwood keys. This enables the piano to handle all kinds of tunes from classical to modern, enabling the pianist to play anything.

Yamaha pianos also come in a variety of designs. The grand piano is a standard feature of most pianos, but you can also get the smaller keyboard models which are perfect if you only use your piano for practice. These pianos allow you to store your piano at a single place, so that it takes up the least amount of space and allows you to easily find the notes you are working on. You can also play the piano, even if you are traveling, thanks to the portable keyboard models.

The older models of the Yamaha piano were not too good looking. Thanks to the new models coming out, all these oldies now look good as new. You can choose from several different colors including the classic black color. It still looks compact and stylish. Some models of the Yamaha piano have some additional features like extra tuning keys, volume controls and even a stopwatch. A piano does not have to be looked at as just an instrument, but it can also be seen as a work of art.

Once you own a Yamaha piano, then you will never want to be without it again. In fact, you might wonder how you ever did without one. So, the next time you go shopping for a piano, ask yourself – did you ever think about buying a Yamaha?

Yamaha P-45 digital piano

A great compact piano, the Yamaha P-45 digital piano is a great choice if you are looking for a great sounding digital piano. Excellent playability, high value for money and known by all musicians as the best piano of its kind, the perfect choice for professional use. The text is machine translates. It gives you the details of how much you will be paying and how much you will save with the different packages available and the discounts that are only available in selected times during the year. All this information is provided in a simple to understand format so that you can make informed choices regarding your purchase of the P-45.

The Yamaha P-45 digital piano has features and capabilities to suit both beginners and advanced players. There are five keys on each hand that make it possible to play the entire range of music keys including the E minor, G and B major as well as the relative minor and major keys. This is especially useful to beginning piano players who are still learning the ropes. This also makes it very convenient for beginners as they do not need to learn how to depress all five keys at the same time which can be quite frustrating as it takes a long time to master.

Yamaha’s P-45 also has octave and keyboard-combining effects, a “stereo” sound that is heard through two speakers and a large user friendly interface. At the same time, there are some features that are simply not present in cheaper entry-level digital pianos such as a self-contained volume control, a variable mid-range sustain pedal, a variable resonator with variable mid-tone strength. There is no word on whether Yamaha has added any features that will make playing the P-45 easier for the more experienced player however, the ability to store eight virtual keyboard chords and recall them using the Piano roll editor is an interesting addition.

3 verified buyer reviews
  1. Pros:
    – Excellent quality, construction, and finish
    – Easy to assemble
    – Yamaha brand name to increase resale value

    Cons:
    – The maximum volume is not as noisy as a normal piano. We weren’t looking to blast the music, but the volume might be a little higher. We also tested the Yamaha P45 and discovered the same results.
    – The sustain pedal was so rigid that it demanded so much quad muscle strength from my wife, to the point where her leg became exhausted after just a few minutes of play.

Instead, we went with the Donner DDP-100, which has a deeper tone, louder volume, and much softer sustain pedals. The build and finish had a few minor blemishes that needed some simple touch-up with a pen and razor blade, but I was pleased overall, particularly because it was significantly less expensive.

  2. With nearly 50 years of experience as a pianist/keyboardist, I have been fortunate and honoured to have done everything from being a pianist in a small local band to being a pianist/keyboardist in professional Southern Gospel groups like the Nelson’s, The Goodmans, Naomi and the Segos, Jake Hess and the Statesmen…and the Gaither Homecoming videos and concerts… I’ve played the Alabama Theatre’s “Mighty Wurlitzer Organ,” as well as the prestigious Hammond B3 organ at Jimmy Swaggart Ministeries and all of Nashville’s recording studios…and I can tell you right now that this keyboard is my absolute FAVORITE made today! I had once used a Roland DX7, but that is no longer the case since I purchased this YAMAHA DGX660B…it is the last one I want to buy! I’ve been playing it and playing WITH it for a few months now, and I’m STILL discovering new stuff it can do! This is an excellent keyboard for traveling bands, but it is particularly SUITABLE FOR CHURCHES!

  3. Before ordering the YPG-535, I did a lot of testing. My efforts did not go unnoticed.

Packaging: excellent packaging. Strong and well-protected. It arrived without incident during shipping.

Assembly: very clear directions make assembling the stand and attaching the keyboard a breeze.

Excellent feel and sound while playing the keyboard. Lots and lots of options… a joy until you realize how simple it is to pick voices and styles. Years earlier, I had a Yamaha PSR350 that I used to play with. I was struck by how unlike a piano the PSR350 sounded. Not so with the YPG-535. The weighted keys are similar to those found on a regular piano.

Overall, I am extremely pleased. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
