Washburn EA15ATB, EA15ITB Acoustic/Electric Guitar Demo Video

hi this is bill with Washburn guitars
and today we’re looking at a festival
series guitar the festival series guitar
if you’ve ever seen episodes of MTV’s
unplugged then you saw a festival series
guitar this is the EA 1580 B all tobacco
burst it has a sister the EA 15 ITV iced
tea burst and it’s a mini jumbo
it’s ideal for singer songwriters and
live performers body-wise it’s slightly
smaller than a dreadnought and let’s
take a look at some of the features here
it’s got an excellent flame maple top
wonderful rosewood bridge a new bone
graft tech saddle it’s compensated it’s
got better tone transfer and sustain a
wonderful abalone rosette rosewood
fingerboard new bone nut for better tone
transfer and sustain as well a
mother-of-pearl Washburn logo and
stylized W inlay diecast tuners mahogany
neck catalpa back in sides Catala paws
essentially sounds like mahogany and
it’s got a cutaway for hitting those
high notes
a Washburn EQ 40 tuner preamp the tuner
is built-in so you don’t have to spend
extra money on that and we’ll get to the
preamp here in a second we’ve also got
an added bonus on the side here a XLR
output so you don’t need to buy a direct
box this will let you plug directly into
the front-of-house board and then your
standard quarter-inch output that goes
into an amp so let’s give a listen to it
miked up here it’s it’s got a smaller
sound than a dreadnought
and in because of that it’s a little
more articulate so let’s give a listen
you
so I’m playing some open chords there so
you can hear how they ring out nicely on
this guitar fire boards sound great as
well
and let’s get back to the EQ for T tuner
preamp here this has bass mid treble and
presence presence will give you a little
more error in the top-end it also has a
notch filter to get rid of feedback you
find the frequency that’s feeding back
and turn the notch filter until it’s
gone
and then your standard volume control
this preamp sounds better than most out
there you don’t get that high-end
fizziness that you might get in a
typical acoustic electric guitar it
sounds a bit more natural so we’re
plugged in here let’s give a listen to
it
we’ll see you in the next video for more

Washburn Acoustic Guitar Review

Washburn acoustic guitars are an integral part of American music history. Many of the early rock and roll and country music stars of the 1960’s were all given their start playing on Washburn acoustic guitars. But just think about it, how many great musicians would there be without the instruments made by Washburn? In fact, Washburn makes some of the best acoustic guitars on the market today.

Before we go any further, let me tell you what exactly Washburn is. It is a well-known musical instrument manufacturing company located in the small town of Bath, Oregon. There is actually a museum that is devoted to the history of Washburn guitars that you can visit there if you like. Washburn acoustic guitars are actually a part of American musical culture. They started out in Bath, Oregon where they first started making acoustic guitars back in 1940.

A company that started in Bath, Oregon called the Washburn Music Company was actually founded by two friends who met while working for a musical instrument manufacturing company in Portland, OR. The founder of the company John and his friend, George Washburn, actually met in high school and later on met up with their college buddies and friends. The rest is history.

In addition to making guitars, the Washburn Music Company also owned a small label printing company. Their music label is actually known as Blue Mountain Records. Blue Mountain Records is still running today in a very successful way.

Today, the Washburn Music Company is a leading manufacturer of musical instruments, as well as a very successful music label. The Washburn Music Company has also created many music albums for their customers. One of the most famous albums they have released was Jimi Hendrix’s All Along the Watchtower. Their popularity was so big at one time, that they were the hottest selling acoustic guitar on the planet, right next to Les Paul’s Electra String Quartet and Gibson. There is a rumor going around that the Washburn music company was even sued by their own brother, Billy, because he had copied their acoustic guitars.

Even though the Washburn guitars are a household name in the world of music today, you will still find many people that still know very little about them. If you want to learn more about Washburn acoustic guitars, all you have to do is do a search on the Internet.
