Unboxing the Sony Walkman D-EJ775 Portable CD Player

hello hello hello I’m going all Retro on
you oh not nothing modern here today
yeah
if you read the toilet description I’m
unboxing a sony walkman DD e JS sim
survive wait a minute yes one of those
using the scissors because Swiss ain’t
gonna cut this I’m afraid got this off
the eBay because I’d either hankering
for it for a discman for portwood disc
player mainly because I was fed up with
digitizing everything and in transfer
and I thought why would it be easy if
there was some sort of device to play a
CD that I could carry around and that’s
what I really remembered that there was
a thing called a discman and this is why
we got this off of debone look what I’ve
done I’ve gone and they swallow that’s
for the shredded crap and that gets
everywhere it’s horrible it’s like
asbestos you have to dispose of that
very sensibly yes so this came quite
minute and there’s more there’s more oh
God most of this video is gonna be me
just opening the packaging should speak
this option I’ve been that’s not why you
come here you like to see me
that’s a tough pick you like to see me
struggle and strain that’s why you’re
here no that ain’t gonna Bank gonna work
that’s where the scissors cut me chop
chop chop chop chop chop chop chop chop
chop chop pay that’s it it’s done and we
are as they say in we’re in like flint
so anyway there is it’s one of those in
it came best got box look at that you
don’t see many of these box this this is
one of the later edition once and it
lasts for 41 hours of batteries which is
pretty cool
so it’ll be the old box in CP you can’t
get these near the Sony don’t make them
and he’s crazy because I’m sure people
out there sometimes what I just put in a
disc and no no it’s just me then oh yeah
cuz nobody buys optical media anymore
what about oh people have got optical
media
oh hey I learned it like like Quincy who
remembers Quincy bear burnout Babar and
yeah this is some of the old mistletoe
Gillis this is some of the old
accessories you could buy feel distant
back in the day they’re getting all
sorts of headphones from Tokyo I
remember those can’t blimey I think I
just set once look at that it’s a
cassette adapter that is for the cars F
cassette anyone got cassette in their
car and you can plug that in and plug
into your discman then play music line
your cassette port yes they were they
were crazy times they were crazy times I
say I’ve got some instructions here as
well I mean it seemed pretty good Nick
considering I think the the seller said
it was in their cupboard and they’d
forgotten about it so that’s not too bad
but there’s no power supply so I’m just
gonna be using some rechargeable
batteries and I’ve got and it’s got a
little remote control as well which I
may or may not use I don’t know but I
just picked up because it was it was
relatively cheap
considered yeah for a boxed one in fact
I might actually make this auricular
item because I’ve got a thing about disc
ones I think I might start collecting
them I need a hobby and if this gets
some views I may I may actually turn
this into a thread because there’s some
really funky looking disciplines out
there so anyway well we’ve got the ice
this is the got the old come on this is
that this is the Gavin’s for that Tovar
though and this is the the remote
control and headphones well I won’t be
needing the headphones always finish
saying the unsanitary use make somebody
else’s earphones so put those over there
and yes a something like that have you
can see that and it’s got big old long
lead as well that’s how you could put
your discman in your pocket and listen
to it and have the control oh wow look
at that it’s absolutely in pristine Nick
don’t know that you would believe it was
used and I think here has been used I
think
I just been put in the cupboard
absolutely imperfect Nick nice very very
light though it’s very plasticky
compared to the ones I had before car
car in with the model numbers I do I had
a Sony diskant d3 back in the day look
at that yeah it’s very light very very
plasticy and I also had a D 131 and a
d-141 I think that was the last one I
ever had
no they just they just died they just
got old I used to use them every down
the commute and I’ve got to
rechargeables here so what we gonna do
is gonna see if we get to power up so
just make sure it works
go on go on
it’s not working then I’ve got in
tonight yeah he’s the wrong way around I
knew that I knew that just not push near
hard enough that’s what she said had
done highs for ages
if you can hear breathing in the
background that’s Alex
he really does sound like a wheezy old
man these days if you ever want to make
a dirty phone call my dog is on higher
and get him home puffing down the phone
doing it does anyone make dirty phone
calls anymore those are things that
passed down so from the 70s was NATO the
80s and that goes in there like that and
and yeah right so on there’s no display
on the front just get some of the remote
your bozo there’s a display so let’s see
if it comes on shall we
I’d I’ll turn it on where’s the on
button I don’t know press play press
play where’s the play there is I’m doing
this through that blue mean the the
viewfinder oh wait did you eat oh did
you eat creaking to life they’re cool
not mine are you gonna sell on my creaky
old knees and has it been said hey this
is it oh look at that fine this is a
fine album by fine musician look at that
handsome face and Dan’s gonna I’m gonna
test out one of my CDs to avoid of
course the copyright this is nothing to
do with my amazingly large ego which I
have got of course I’m an egomaniac but
it’s just to avoid the copyright
so plugin I’ve got some Sony hit fears I
shall be using let’s see oh it works
thanks them and yes actually read the
disc not if you see that it’s 41 minutes
all of these come but yeah he’s playing
is planning the track let’s try again
does it really played and display at the
time I can’t see now it’s just playing
the track now just displays the time
when you first put the disc in it’s not
very good it’s out now
is that your focus and that’s not
easy well don’t worry about it he is
working and people are outside arguing
eerie sound coming out let me just turn
the volume volume up where’s the volume
there’s the volume I mean this is the
highest sophistication this is a you can
hear it it sounds like it like a wasp in
a tin can but it does play music
yeah Wow there you go so it does work
I’m holding up to the to the camera
there you go and that’s it so yeah we’ve
got a working one and guess what you can
skip tracks using their using the remote
and you can stop it
Wow there you go so it’s a it’s a
genuine bona fide a Sony discman that
works very plastic Eli so my only
criticism and look the disc is
completely black Wow
that shocked you didn’t it you did
Wilson expected that see I only sell
quality product you know quality product
so yeah that’s that was the sony DJ the
love DJ service it looks like that if
you’ve enjoyed this video give her a
thumbs up
my name is pinned down look and that’s
it really and all more think of saying
it’s Tata

Walkman CD Player Review

There are many advantages to having a Walkman CD player. It will allow you to take your music with you everywhere you go. No more lugging around an expensive portable player! Unfortunately, most Walkman players come with a rather small design so that you shouldn’t have too much of a problem choosing a smaller portable Walkman. Price also is an important factor to consider when choosing one.

Overall, most good quality portable CD players are quite a bit expensive, but they’re worth purchasing. The pros almost all say that these types of units are well worth the investment, especially if you’ll be carrying it around with you on a regular basis. The cons generally all say that it’s a good idea to buy a more expensive unit with the pro’s added features, and that the cons are minor, and probably just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a particular make and model. Here is a breakdown of the pros and cons for you to make your decision on whether or not you should invest in a Walkman CD player.

The pros are many! Most people think that the biggest pro is the fact that you can now take your portable DVD player anywhere with you. With the pros, there are more pros than cons! As a matter of fact, the pros pretty much cover everything that the cons could say, including the fact that Walkman CD players with skip-free g-protection technology are superior to portable DVD players with anti Skip-Play technology.

The cons are few. If you don’t care about the design, the look, the price, the looks, the quality, the size, then there really isn’t much to say. If you want an excellent sound, the best built, the best features, the best built to make sure that your songs are always in perfect condition, then the portable CD players out there will do just fine. And yes, they will cost you a bit more, but hey – there’s no reason to buy anything else when you can get the same quality, performance and value with Walkman CD players as well!

There are also pros and cons for the newer versions of Walkman CD players. With the new generation of portable CD players, you have to really consider how solid the construction is, and how well the battery holds up. It’s not a good idea to buy one that’s constructed cheaply and throws off quickly. When you buy a good player, it lasts you a long time. And yes, you will pay more for the newer models, but you’ll also get what you pay for in terms of how long the battery lasts, the quality of the player, the amount of memory the player has (do they have more than just one song stored inside? ), and so on.

In the end, a Walkman CD player is a great investment. It will give you many years of great sound quality, reliability, portability and value. Do your homework before you buy. Check out all the different makes and models out there, compare prices, features and all the other usual factors. Then decide which one has all the pros to make your life better. If you spend just a few minutes reading this article now, you’ll be able to make the right decision when it comes to a portable cd player for your home.
