Luna Tattoo Concert Uke Demo Video

hello it’s bad AG on ukulele comm with
another instrument review for you
as always the written review is on the
website the link up at the top here this
is an instrument that I see probably get
recommended to begin as more than any
other you know the sort of thing you’re
on a forum or discussion group and
somebody asks the question that I’m
getting a new ukulele or my first
ukulele recommend me want somebody on an
almost daily basis will recommend one
from this brand which is a lunar and
this is a concert scale they’re tattoo
laser tattoo edged concert scale from
Luna it gets a lot of high praise or is
there a lot of people who just happen to
have them and like to make a
recommendation I thought I’d buy one and
find out it is a fairly standard ukulele
shape in the concert scale as I say made
completely from laminate wood with a
mahogany outer double bed shape pretty
plain flat back as I said not solid wood
laminate wood pretty plain sides no edge
binding so you can see the edges of the
laminate but it’s on the top which is
where I think people really get
attracted to when they go into a music
store and see it on the shelf yeah
this laser etched tattoo design that
you’ve gone here it’s um you’re either
going to love it or hate it I don’t know
but other than that yeah I mean it’s
it’s alright it’s you can actually you
know you can feel it it’s smaller
transfer fairly standard tie bar bridge
there with a bit of odd shaping to it
screwed in place as given away by these
two holes and a plastic saddle
uncompensated it’s pretty well made
looking inside lots of glue spots and
shavings the bracing looks quite chunky
but the laminate is fairly thin so
all right fairly standard neck hardwood
mahogany I think with the join here and
we joined up at the top fairly standard
neck profile plastic nut Nichols of
frets with no sharp edges the edges are
unbound you’ve got these triangle shaped
inlaid plastic triangle fret markers no
side fret markers the rosewood looks dry
it looks cheap
it looks pale in the middle here I don’t
know whether I can show you this but
I’ve also got sort of wood knots and
holes in it looks like woodworm I think
that’s awful knowing it’s just cheap
wood with poor quality control that
would annoy the hell out of me
thankfully a different shaped headstock
there with the Luna logo that is
screen-printed on in white I think it
looks a bit stark but there we go
faced in Marga new veneer and on the
back we have unbranded open geared
tuners that you see almost cheap
ukuleles but these are really terrible
look at that I found when I was tuning
it there was a lot of play in them and
kind of a rattle they all move I reckon
if I yank these I could probably pull
them out not good
Queen of strings and 480 pounds and you
get this and you get this very
functional gig bag so priced for the
beginner who I think as I say probably
gets attracted by what’s going on on top
here but that doesn’t make any sound
it’s how it plays that matters
fairly balanced fairly light a little
bit body heavy I think but it’s it’s
alright it’s the sound I mean it’s
functional it plays you Tunes the setups
okay the intonation isn’t bad it just
doesn’t have a lot of life to it now I
know it’s a cheap ukulele but I’ve
played other cheap ukuleles of this 80
quid price point that I’ve got a lot
more life to them seems a bit
one-dimensional to me it’s not got huge
amounts of volume it hasn’t got huge
amounts of sustained
you know what I thought about this one
was you know if this was fifty quid or
thirty quid ukulele I’d be thinking well
that sound is what I expected from it
it’s not it’s 80s so it’s a bit more and
I just wonder how much more you are
paying because of this stuff I
personally wouldn’t spend my money on it
or recommend it I think you can do
better things like Baton Rouge we’re
just a plain laminate from makalah has
more life in it than this one I’m not
expecting great things from you clearly
at this price point I just I just think
you can do better if you go plainer I
don’t know what it is lunar I think it’s
probably ever built inside I think the
laminates cheap I don’t like the
roughness of the neck and those tuners
but it it’s perfectly functional you
know I’ll get a lot of bad press for
this video because course and ukulele
around if you say anything bad a bit
about a ukulele you are the devil I just
like to try and sort of tell it like it
is it’s one guy’s impartial review I
think you can do better than buying this
plenty of people will because they’ll
like this I would ignore that and get
something plainer that the sounds a bit
better you may be listening to the video
and thinking what sounds alright to me
I suppose it does
it’s alright
I don’t I wouldn’t spend age equipment
there we go keep an eye on got you
clearly for the full written review on
this one and plenty more coming soon as
well have a look at the reviews page
plenty on there take care see you again
soon

Luna Ukuleles

When you are looking to purchase a new ukulele, you may want to consider purchasing a Luna ukulele. These guitars are a great addition to any musical arsenal. Here are some of the features that make them stand out from the rest.

Most UKuleles are constructed with high-quality Mahogany body materials. The structure is typically satin finished, making it even more attractive to many players who want a well-built instrument. In fact, the best thing about these guitars is that they will never warp or crack. This will also help prevent damage to your instrument if you accidentally drop it into water.

The bodies of most Luna guitars are also made from Mahogany. However, the necks on these guitars are made out of a unique “Gibson” style neck. This neck offers a comfortable and balanced feel and provides an extremely versatile way to play the guitar. This neck is very light, which means that you will not be straining your neck to hold it steady while playing.

The pickups found on these ukuleles are usually made out of brass. This creates an extremely warm sound that will draw people to you. The sound produced from the pickup will also be highly versatile. You can use the pickup to produce a sound that is more bass-oriented or a richer, more mellow sound for your lead playing.

The fretboard on a Luna ukulele is made out of maple. Maple is one of the hardest woods used for guitar making. This allows the musician to be able to create a wide range of sounds from this guitar without having to worry about a crack or break.

You may have to pay a little more money for a Luna ukulele than you would for other models, but you should definitely look into this option if you are considering purchasing one of these acoustic guitars. You will be paying a bit more for the fine craftsmanship that went into making the instrument, but you are getting a great piece of musical history as well. This is a great investment, and you will certainly be happy with your purchase for many years to come.

The sound that you get out of this instrument is also wonderful. The strings will produce a nice sound that is very melodic and will add variety to your sound when playing. The tone will be a little deeper than that of a regular acoustic guitar. This depth will make it easier for you to play any sort of music that you want.

The other good thing about this ukulele is that it can be easily altered. You will be able to change the strings to create a very unique sound. If you are just starting out to play the guitar, you might consider trying to do so. If you have been playing the same song for years, you may want to try out some different notes and chords. The versatility of the ukulele means that it is easy for you to change it to suit your style of playing.

Overall, a Luna ukulele is an excellent instrument to own. It offers you a beautiful instrument that will allow you to create a rich musical sound with ease.

Luna Ukulele FAQ

Luna concert ukulele

A Luna concert Ukulele will make an unforgettable experience for your entire family and friends. The popular traditional outdoor string instrument is designed with a flat top for optimum tuning, a warm “thumbrest” and backrest for comfort and a beautifully detailed carved neck which include the famous Luna Uteo Logo. This fine Italian ukulele has a fretted only neck, with the ability to switch to either open tuning or tailpiece. The trademark signature “Luna” double cutaway produces a rich, deep sound that’s perfect for a full range of music from jazz to classical. Even though this instrument is not normally considered to be a modern guitar, the wonderful sound it produces is often much louder than many contemporary guitars.

One of the best selling features of the Luna concert ukulele is its deep, rich tone. It has a dark tone ideal for many acoustic and gospel music. Many of today’s top guitarists have recorded songs using the open tuning version of this instrument. The open tuning version of the ukulele has a deeper bass note than the classical models and a brighter tone, which some consider to be a “twangy” tone. The rich tone and deep bass notes compliment the “twangy” tone beautifully. It’s easy to play the ukulele with the tone on, but the deeper bass notes require some finger work to get the notes sounding right.

For even more unique sound, the Luna concert ukulele also features a fingerboards made of rare mahogany. The rich mahogany sound is extremely deep and it provides a very unique tone combination. This instrument is usually finished with a lacquer or varnish to protect it from the elements. The fine craftsmanship of the Luna he is also one of the main reasons why the instrument has remained popular throughout the years.

Luna baritone ukulele

It’s time for you to take your ukulele abilities to the big stage! With a powerful solid body and a wonderful tone, the Luna Uke is an excellent musical and social investment. The Luna baritone Ukulele will give you years of pleasurable performance at a price anyone can afford. When you want to impress your friends you can do so with a little added spice.

The modernisation of the classical guitar has seen a new generation of guitars taking the lead from the traditional rounded body designs to sleek rectangular ones. This new design comes complete with a nice looking spruce top on a mahogany body. While these guitars have a similar thickness and standard tuning methods, they are made from a different grade of wood which provides the bright tones that are characteristic of classical music. The Luna baritone Ukulele sounds great and looks great because of its unique construction.

The Luna baritone Ukulele has a nice sounding preamp to add a little more “oomph” to its sound, as well as a nice looking electronic tuner. With its walnut fingerboard and Mahogany tonewood, it will definitely create a rich sound for you and your guests. While the cost is high, the tone is one that will please any listener. You can purchase the Luna from any good music store and it’s even available online!

Luna tenor ukulele

The Luna ukulele is a tenor-call model, meaning it has only one tail and is quite light for its size. Some people call it a bass ukulele but in actual fact it is not very close to being a bass instrument in its composition. In contrast to its larger brothers the Utah and the Olefin tenors, the Luna tenor has a light body and a flaring sound which make it perfect for a wide range of the singer’s songs. It also has a high pitched ukulele sound which can be great when you are working on your deeper notes or creating a rich background for solos or other work.

This is probably the most popular tenor ukulele in the United Kingdom today because of the low cost and great sound it creates. If you are looking for a solid instrument with a good sound that is reasonably priced then the Luna tenor ukulele might be perfect for you. There are many good ukulele stores and internet stores that carry them. You should be able to get a good price on one online as well.

The other instruments made by the Luna family are the Hawaiian, the Mexican and the Arizona. The Hawaiian is traditionally made from a combination of plywood and leather and has a simple round body. The Mexican tenor ukulele has a slightly more complex design and has a leather wrapped around the edges and a round body. The Arizona is also a good buy because of the bright colorful wooden body and the thin strings that give it a distinctive sound. The Hawaiian has the oldest design and is the most popular, but both are equally good quality instruments that should give you many years of enjoyment.

Luna electric ukulele

The Luna Ukulele is designed for both beginners and experts of all levels. It was designed with the new modern student in mind who wants a lightweight instrument that is very easy to learn to play. It is very sleek and beautiful looking, with its finger Friendly satin plush design. The body is made from a very flexible but hardy laminated laminate which is covered with a soft plush laminated skin. This gives it a very comfortable feeling on the finger and also gives it the ability to stay cool even when being played fast.

The ukulele has a body based on the conventional tuning method and is an effective instrument for string instruments. It has five tuned keys which can be depressed and released individually for each note making it a very versatile instrument. There are two pickups situated on either side of the bridge, which enables the instrument to have a warm and distinctive sound when the strings are plucked. The Luna electric ukulele has a variable speed control that makes it easier for the player to vary the pitch of the instruments. The guitar player who only uses one hand can have greater control over the pitch by using the variable speed control.

Due to the large amount of frets on a traditional ukulele, it is not advisable for beginners to start out playing with chords. Instead, they should use their fingers to pluck the strings and use the thumb, middle and index fingers to do the strumming. This enables them to develop the finger dexterity needed to perform complicated chord passages. In addition to having less frets, the Luna also has a much larger tuning mechanism than most ukuleles. This allows it to be very expressive to the new player who may not yet be able to play complicated chord passages with a traditional stringed instrument. The instrument also has three tuning systems, a seven-string system, a six-string system and a five-string system.

  1. I rarely purchase musical instruments online. When I’ve done that, I’ve had a mixed bag of results. One of the guitars I purchased online snapped in half the first time I tuned it. As a result, I am extremely reluctant to purchase musical instruments without first holding them in my possession. But my wife has always wanted to learn to play the ukulele, and she adores the ocean. I thought this would be a unique gift for her birthday. I knew that this was the uke for her as soon as I saw it here, but I couldn’t find it in any local stores. I still haven’t found a Luna dealer in my area. So I reluctantly purchased it. I wish you could have seen the look on her face as I handed it to her! I caused her to weep (a good thing).

The ukelele arrived on time and in good condition. It was in a shipping box with appropriate packaging, as well as a Luna box. It included a gig pack. The real uke is stunning! The collar and back are a lovely dark blue, and the drawn artwork on the front is superb. The woodwork is very well finished, and all joints and seams are perfectly aligned. The movement is well positioned, and the neck is nice and straight. The uke needed no setup apart from tuning right out of the box. The only flaw with this uke was that some glue had gotten into a few tiny crevices and had been painted over. These locations are not apparent unless you are explicitly searching for them. It’s a minor flaw that has no bearing on the tone or playability of this ukulele. This is a concert uke, which is bigger than most ukeleles. It is, in my opinion, 25% larger. As a result, it is slightly quieter and has a slightly lower pitch than other small ones. Even if you haven’t picked it up in a few days, it stays in tune very well, with only minor adjustments needed. The strings are made by Aquilla, which is one of the best brands available. Good strings are critical for keeping an instrument in tune, ease of play, and overall sound.

My wife has had a lot of fun learning to play the ukelele. It was the ideal one for her to begin with, and I enjoy playing it as well. I don’t own a more expensive one, but I have played a lot of them in the past. This performs as well as or better than models costing $300-400. This instrument has exceeded our expectations.

  2. The first thing you note about this uke is that it is LOUD! has more volume than my tenor, which I felt had adequate volume. The small concert simply resonates far larger than its duration. It has a decent midrange and a long sustain. Uke arrived at Austin Bazaar fully prepared. Intonation was fine right out of the gate. Ukuleles are also light and well balanced.

There are a few problems with quality management. Glue can be seen on the fret board just below the nut. Any pitted wood on the top edge. And the fret board finish is mediocre. The fret edges hang a little over the fret board; they’re not sharp, but I could file them down. Minor cosmetic issues, none of which affect gameplay.

The hard case is useful. It’s made of canvas and has a wide pocket on the outside. Pocket appears to be upside down to me, but maybe I will learn to like it? There are a lot of hooks on the outside, and a strap is included so you can shoulder it like a gig bag. There’s a small compartment on the inside for storing a tuner, capo, extra strings, or whatever you want. The interior is lined with a soft imitation black velvet. I’m quite pleased with the situation, and the fact that it came with it made this a GREAT DEAL. It also includes a cloth, a DVD, and an Eno ET-33 tuner.

With its turtle tattoos and good-looking wood, this is a cute Uke. The off-white/tan nut and saddle are a nice touch. Luna’s other tattoo concerts have been more understated.

  3. The most important aspect of my review is that this is a lovely, well-made ukulele with a rich, full tone. There is no buzzing of the strings and no “plinky” ukulele tone. The finish is exquisitely designed, and the tattoo style is stunning. The pictures don’t do the warm mahogany tones justice, so you’ll have to see it in person. My niece owns many ukuleles, including this one, which she considers to be her favorite. She adores it, so I purchased one after reading every review. Pay for the extra box if you’re thinking about buying this or some other breakable item! There was a large tear in the Luna box they sent in when my mail carrier delivered it. Fortunately, no harm was done to the instrument. In addition, some reviewers expressed dissatisfaction with the free gift bag that was included. The gig bag DOES have padding on the front, back, and along the sides (duh, it’s free). I’m getting another case, but this one is much superior to the one that came with my first uke, and it has an outside zipper pocket that is 7″x9″, large enough for a snack. I could go on and on about this lovely instrument, but I’d rather be playing it right now.
