obviously it’s got eight strings and
tell them a neck that looks something
like one of the highways in America like
a cricket but um yes pretty wide if you
play cricket it’s actually not
dissimilar it has an eight-string
Lindgren pickup in it single pickup and
something that looks like a Floyd Rose
but doesn’t move so it’s kind of like a
hard trail but with the fine tuners
which actually I think is pretty cool
because of course up the other end we
have a locking nut I’m guessing because
some of these strings are tuned so low
we need to stop them moving around the
head what’s the tone wood I’m gonna
completely guess at a swamp ash or ash
we know anything about this good fun
well we don’t we know it’s not mic
mushrooms so we’ve got a volume and a
tone control and you know what it’s time
for a beer to play and what we’re
running through my z– which I think
actually sounds pretty badass is a line
6dt 50 down here set to it’s sort of
Americans still rectifier sort of mode
and a Marshall JVM times bro here we go
yeah you know as well that we should
really paint like a fractal shouldn’t we
probably I’ve never in my life played an
eight-string before just so you know far
from although this video is evolving and
all the tosin Abasi videos you’ve been
watching to do and some riffs that’s
gonna go in the video no one’s gonna
think how many fingers have you got four
that’s fine wait teach means before
anything as we go all your hands all
and what will you call that chin you’re
just playing there it’s called to God
you could go a string never before great
thanks I like special ed the bit where
it goes I guess what was the thing you
did at the top there
that’s all you’re choking a chicken
it’s lobster yeah I never have I been so
out of my depth in the video
do the duck gut data to the gut
yeah in the end
well there you are I hope you enjoyed
that impromptu little video I have to
say despite um it’s just fun isn’t it
yes not being something that I would
choose to make music on it’s a nicely
put together instrument this you know it
is yes well made yeah you know good
decent not me like it feels well made
and the neck movement is good but like
yeah like Rob said it’s just great fun
like I know people buy these for serious
musical output but personally I think 6
is more than enough for me
I need 9 really yeah you know there

the hair yeah the NAMM show is at
Ellie’s play it by putting it between
your feet and doing like I think it’s

The popularity of the eight-string guitar is steadily increasing and you can find many players practicing in local shops, clubs, or wherever else they might have the opportunity. However, if you’re just starting out with playing an 8-string guitar, it’s a good idea to consider a few things that might be lacking in your first attempts at playing the instrument. Here are some tips on how to play the eight-string guitar well.
As mentioned before, there are two basic types of guitars: acoustic and electric. Acoustic guitars are generally the more commonly used in today’s society and are often made with hardwoods like ash or maple. Acoustic guitars are also considered to be more affordable than electric guitars. Electric guitars, by contrast, are usually made with a combination of different materials such as nylon, which are lighter than hardwoods like ash, and other materials that produce the sound similar to that produced by other acoustic guitars.
The next step to playing the guitar is to learn how to properly tune your instrument and play it with all the chords possible. The guitar tuner is the best way to do this as it will allow you to keep track of where you are in your song and what each chord is. You should also take some time to try to play some songs that you know on the acoustic guitar and then try to play these songs on the electric.
Next, you should practice keeping tabs on the tablature that accompanies your guitar. Some popular tabs for the eight-string guitar are the E-minor chord, the C-major chord, the A pentatonic chord, and the A pentatonic arpeggio. This will allow you to familiarize yourself with the tablature and help you identify chords easily when playing the guitar.
The third step is to learn to play scales. Many times, a beginner might not be fully aware of the significance of scales. When learning how to play the 8-string guitar well, one of the keys is being able to recognize and use scales when you are playing the right chords. While scales may seem to be simple to learn, there are actually many things you need to know about scales. If you simply learn to memorize how to use and read scales, you could end up spending hours learning them but getting nowhere.
The last step is to learn how to use the guitar properly. You’ll need to learn how to turn your hand from a hammer-on-and-pull-off motion to an across-the-finger motion and finally learn to hold your guitar properly, which will help you in tuning and holding the guitar while playing in both positions.
