Take the Grateful Dead, arguably the best band to ever grace a stage, add the precision saxophone playing of Branford Marsalis plus the piano virtuoso Bruce Hornsby and you have found yourself a gem.

Well if you were doing Dead tour in the early 90?s you would have had a chance to witness this combo on a handful of occasions and for those of us that were not there, YouTube has us covered!

Today’s Flashback Friday brings us back to September 10th of 1991. The Dead were headlining Madison Square Garden in NYC with Branford Marsalis and Bruce Hornsby sitting in throughout the night.
