2013 Interlocken Festival

Interlocken, a 4-day music festival, with an emphasis on world class music, locally sourced food and sustainability, is confirmed to take place September 5th – 8th.

This inaugural event is taking up residence at Oak Ridge Farm in Arrington, VA at the foot of the Blue Ridge which is only 35 miles outside of Charlottesville.

2013 Interlocken Festival Initial Lineup

Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Furthur (3 shows, 1 of them featuring a full performance of “Workingman’s Dead”), Widespread Panic (2 shows, 1 of them featuring a sit-in from John Fogerty) , The String Cheese Incident ( 2 shows, 1 of them billed as “The Zac Brown Incident”), The Black Crowes (2 shows) + More TBA.

Interlocken was created by industry veterans Dave Frey and Peter Shapiro. Frey founded the HORDE Festival and Shapiro currently publishes Relix Magazine as well as being the proprietor of Brooklyn Bowl. With the pedigree of these two producers, Interlocken is set to be one of the country’s most unique and dynamic events. Frey and Shapiro’s sense for innovation and creativity together with the backdrop of this beautiful setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains is certain to make for an unforgettable weekend.
