Update: As we predicted, STS9 has announced this show officially here.

Original Article: You asked for it!

STS9 is set to make their Colorado summer stop into a 2-night affair.

Originally announcing just a  single gig at Red Rocks this June, STS9 left most fans with a serious case of depression as the band has been playing multi-night show runs in Colorado for years.

Now it looks like the band will be performing their ‘Axe the Cables’ acoustic styled show in Boulder, Colorado on June 17th at the Boulder Theater.

This info comes via a tweet from the official @STS9 account on Twitter late this afternoon. See the below screenshot.

All signs point to the official announcement to be dropped within the next 24 hours via STS9.com

Booked that same day at that venue is a screening of the film RE:Generation that features a musical soundtrack by STS9.

We are predicting that STS9 will play after the film screening which features a Q&A session with directors Phil Montgomery and Matt DeRoss.
Update: STS9 has announced that they will actually play prior to the film screening.

Tickets for that event are already on sale for $10 via the band’s website.

Though not officially official, it sure looks like we are safe making this call. Its official!
