LG Tone Ultra HBS-835 bluetooth Headset Demo Video
all right everyone what’s going on
today’s video we’re gonna look at the LG
tone ultra HBS 8:35 this model in
particular and if you don’t know LG has
released three new LG tone ultras late
2018 this one being the middle variant
let’s go ahead and start talking about
this headset okay so one of the biggest
changes is the Bluetooth it’s now
Bluetooth 5.0 from 4.1 or 2 compared to
the last ultra model and then we got the
price a brand new on their site it’s
$99.99 but I got mine for $60 brand new
do not go any more higher than that and
yeah let’s move on to the sound quality
we got JBL sound but the quad layer
speakers supposedly should have more
bass to it didn’t I really see that we
got the dual mic for talking and then we
got the battery life we got 15 days of
standby then talktime is 13 hours music
time is 15 hours then we got to charge
it it takes about 2 hours to fully
charge it the battery is a 210 milliamp
battery the weight is 1.4 ounces and of
course being that these are the latest
models it is of course retractable
earbuds where you just extend them all
the way and then with the final tug you
can just have them retract back you will
notice that the cables are very thin
like all the other latest LG toe models
so you want to be careful with that
don’t be too aggressive
don’t just yank them out and even with
that final tug to retract them be gentle
it will still work you don’t have to
pull it so hard that it will burst right
and then we got the buttons lay out and
I want to quickly compare it to the HBS
820 s model which is the one that came
out before it I think late 2016 over
here which I do have you’ll notice that
the 835 model has all the buttons and
functions on one side whereas the older
model has buttons on both aside alright
so this is the h20 s over here and then
this guy here has all the functions on
one side all right so we got the forward
backtrack and
and we got the volume and up volume on
the same sliding feature over here with
the the buttons and we got the
play/pause answer and call we got our
charging port over here which is
microUSB got that little thing that
covers it up so make sure that’s always
down and of course it’s a neck band
style or design so it’s quite flexible
it is not waterproof or sweat proof
right so get that in your system okay so
yes paying for something is this
expensive it’s not waterproof or a sweat
proof so that’s a bad thing right is it
yes I don’t know anyways moving on we
got two colors from what I’ve seen on
their site they have the black and the
blue and as always blue seems to be
quite hard to get so I just went ahead
and grabbed this black one with that
awesome deal of $60 ok and then let’s go
ahead and talk about what it connects to
it could connect to Apple products
iPhones Android Windows and then now
we’ll just look at the or talked about
the music quality music quality is
actually pretty sweet even though if it
says deep bass it’s not really there the
song would have to have deep bass in it
to actually feel it but if you’re trying
to add that base to a song that doesn’t
really have the bass in it then you just
wool will not experience it that’s the
best way I can see it okay
we want to look at talk quality
basically the quality will always come
down to the phone you’re using the app
you’re using and of course the
connectivity okay like where you are how
far and so forth and like for example i
when i use the viber app it’s so much
better in terms of call quality than
using the regular phone app on my phone
which is my samsung s 9 is what I’m
using and what I use this headset with
there is a difference you will notice
the equality is there but I have not
experienced any of the low volume issues
which these LG’s headsets have like I’ve
had in the past like they’ve been having
this sort of issue where the volume is
like so low you could never hear that
person like what are you saying
and it’s not there at least for this one
and this is only me speaking of using
the s9 phone samsung galaxy s 9 my
experience with the samsung galaxy s 9
phone okay so that’s as much as I can
tell you in terms of the call quality
now the connectivity being a Bluetooth
5.0 I don’t know I mean 5.0 should be
different Samsung s9 does use 5.0
Bluetooth as well and the connectivity I
guess in terms of like habitat
disconnect from the distance you could
get a good 30 feet out of it but walls
will have this thing disconnect but I
guess that’s why the the audio quality
is really good when you’re listening to
music and so it’s really nice smooth
there is no audio lag when you’re
watching the YouTube videos I literally
watch the video watch the person talking
watch their lips moving and their mouths
moving and make sure that what they’re
saying is what I’m actually hearing at
that very exact time so hopefully this
helps you guys out with that area and if
you miss the unboxing just a quick look
at what it actually comes with not much
it comes with two ear gels well up here
ear gels are usually the one that’s
already attached to the ear buds is the
medium-size and then you have the small
one if you want it and this is the
charging micro USB cable that it comes
with and of course if you have any
adapter that fits the micro USB cable
you can have this thing plugged up and
charged if you wanted to know that and
to just pretty much wrap up things if
you do plan to buy one of these ultras
either variant of the three I’m gonna
say at least for the 8:35 and possibly
be the other one the HBS 830 I think it
is the ultra a don’t don’t don’t spend
more than 60 I mean honestly if if you
plan to buy it just make sure you get it
brand new and less than 60 because as we
all know even though LG has been
improving in the past and now you know
better quality in terms of sound so the
earbuds has always been the issue where
they go out within a month or two or
sometimes it just it just doesn’t charge
anymore the battery just dies out and it
won’t charge or we won’t power on which
I have experienced that in the past it’s
really depressed and we
you spent so much and it only lasts you
about a month or two so my advice to you
if you do see this don’t buy it if it’s
more than sixty if you get a brand-new
or less than sixty then go for it
and enjoy it while he can and other than
that guys if you have any questions
