Let’s get into the review.
So I first discovered ToughTested products at CES this year,
and I stopped and talked to them
for a long time at the booth,
because I love the idea of creating super durable products
meant for the on-the-go lifestyle.
So I’ve been testing some of their stuff out,
and it’s been awesome.
I’ve been using their USB wall charger with InstaSense.
Got my phone charging on it right over there.
But one of my favorite things
that they put out was these headphones.
I’ve been using them every single day.
Just for on-the-go, for taking phone calls and stuff,
and then also every day, as I go on runs,
they are my go-to headphones right now.
So I love these headphones most for running.
Definitely ’cause, with the shark fin, they stay in.
I love the clip-on mic and start and stop button
for music and calls.
And then, of course, sweat-resistant is a cool bonus.
They came in this super cool case,
and here’s a quick overview of the Ranger.
They come with Flexfoam and tree tips,
small and large of each.
I’ve been using the tree tips.
There is a 360 microphone with a volume boost wheel,
and then you’ve got one button for calls.
Answering or ending calls or pausing and playing music.
And then there’s a clip so everything stays secure.
They come with a sports fit shark fin in-ear hook,
so they stay secure in your ears,
and there’s 26 decibels of noise reduction
that reduces up to about 30% of noise.
The cable is Kevlar inside and braided nylon outside.
And they’re IP54 certified
for water, sweat, and dust resistance.
Plus they come with a five year warranty,
which gives me even more security, that they stand behind
the durability and the longevity of the headphones.
So the price point for these is right around $50 USD,
and I’ll link up a couple different sites
where I found them online.
So overall, these are a great pair of earbuds.
Again, I’ve been using them daily, especially for running.
Love the build quality, love the sound quality,
and I also love the functionality,
with the clip and the ability to take calls with the button
and the mic and that whole setup.
So if you’re looking for some outdoor,
active lifestyle, durable kind of earbuds,
these are definitely worth checking out.
And then also I noticed a few other headphones and earbuds
on the website that you might want to check out.
One are called the Jobsite, which have even greater
noise control and are really designed for, like,
loud kinda job site stuff where there’s a ton of noise.
So those are cool.
And then there’s also a waterproof pair called the Marine.
