Takamine G-Series Acoustic/Electric Guitar Demo Video

hey everyone its guitar review dude and
today I have the tak Ameen G Series
acoustic guitar which is actually an
acoustic electric now I bought this
guitar probably three weeks ago and it’s
been holding up really well the build
quality actually I haven’t found
anything that’s flawed on it to be quite
honest
oh we’re gonna start up at the neck here
like all these now this is an acoustic
so all we got here is just non-branded
gold-plated tuners and you don’t do a
lot of bends on an acoustic you don’t do
a lot of dive-bombs with the tremolo
there’s none of that so these tuners
hold quite well for the job that they do
moving on down we have a nut
I have no idea what they’re nuts made of
but there doesn’t seem to be any binding
issues on it so that’s a definite plus
and like I said the tuning pegs that
actually are pretty good they rotate
pretty smooth moving on down we have the
neck now the neck has abalone shell
inlay on it and it’s actually made of
rosewood now the other interesting
feature about this guitar is it’s made
out of 100% flamed maple
so that means top back size neck and
your headstock are all playing maple so
pretty neat feature there so the neck
action I’m used to electric so this is
gonna be a little biased but for me it’s
a little bit high but I mean if you’re
an acoustic player it’s probably perfect
for you but it’s plays really well plays
fantastic so there’s not a whole lot of
issues there
so moving on down we got our bridge
rosewood bridge your six string holders
there and they do quite a good job by
restoring it myself and it was quite a
painless process so they work quite well
the bridge is made out of the same
material as the nut so I don’t know if
it’s artificial bone or what we got
going on here but it doesn’t seem to be
a lot of wear on it holds tuned proper
it it’s a great guitar so basically
you’ve got this ring around here this is
all abalone shell on the ring here and
then the binding of course you’ve got
your nice white binding all around up
here your whole sides and it’s got these
black and white sort of markers on it so
that’s kind of neat as well now the next
part about this is you got your your
strap holder which also doubles
as a as a quarter-inch input which was
actually quite neat because then you
don’t need to have a separate holder for
your strap I actually mount it pretty
good they’ve got 3d wood screws on here
and it doesn’t seem to move a whole lot
so pretty good idea on talking in there
next what we have here is another strap
holder now this is another good feature
they didn’t mount it straight up they
actually mounted it more towards up this
way so that your strap doesn’t fall off
it actually molds around the neck so
that’s good there in terms of that so
you won’t have to worry about your strap
coming off at a gig the strap pegs on
this guitar pretty solid there I haven’t
had any issues with the strap coming off
so I’m not too worried about this when I
play it onstage so the next cool feature
here of course it’s an acoustic electric
now I’m actually gonna get up and show
you guys this system here now what we
got going on we got a 3 band EQ so you
got your cheville middle and your bass
here it actually has a gain which sort
of look like a microphone but it’s built
in here before it runs to your mixer and
it has an onboard tuner your battery on
this is a 9-volt battery and to turn the
tuner on you just press the button and
then pluck a string and it’ll come up
the tuner on this is actually quite
accurate due to the pickup in this
guitar being a Paizo so they all ran it
through the same system so that’s
basically the overview the general idea
of it really so it’s a great guitar in
terms of features I give it a 9 out of
10 its stellar guitar so we’re gonna do
now we’re going to strum some songs and
basically show you how it sounds
unplugged and I’ll plug it in and run it
through my system back there
[Music]
so here it’s got a really nice open tone
really nice clean tone it’s not super
low-end it’s not super Trembley it’s
just really nice sound really clear
sound
so really great recording works
fantastic for that so basically some
power cord stuff it also functions
pretty good I mean there’s some buzzing
but it is an acoustic
so that’s it unplugged it sounds pretty
good in terms of that that’s the only
reason I bought it was because I wanted
an acoustic before I wanted to be able
to plug it in that was the main thing in
this guitar certainly you could go
around the campfire it easily has not
voice on it
don’t play pretty much any other guitar
so don’t have to worry there if you are
worrying about not being heard at a jam
session or at the lake or wherever
you’re going but it’s a phenomenal coup
stick for quite a good deal actually so
what I’m gonna do I’m gonna plug in so I
got it ran in and basically the EQ works
quite effectively on here the bass if
you want more bass and you turn it up
you definitely hear more bass like the
EQ on here is fantastic for that I I
didn’t believe that the cues on acoustic
electrics were actually that good but
this has sure proved me wrong and the
gain control is also a really awesome
feature they put on here just because
then you can control your volume more so
from here then having a high dive at the
board every time so here we go this is
gonna be some plugged in
so you can hear when you got it plugged
in and round through there they actually
get a really nice blend you sort of get
your nice acoustic sound here but then
your head and sound actually carries it
and has way more depth
one thing I want to talk about is the
strings how they pick up now you start
on your E string here you get to you
sorta have a dead spot on your E which I
can understand because if you’re really
struggling you don’t want your bottom
end to be overpowering everything so a
good idea on tacking mean for that
I’ll give them not it it’s a good idea
so that your eat doesn’t overpower
anything the only problem is when you
run into finger picking
so there you go so that’s an example
when you’re only picking three notes and
you have to have your bass note actually
count kind of loses out there for that
but overall the guitar is phenomenal I
know it’s an instrument that if I take
care of it I’ll have it for a lot of
years it’s built extremely well tack I
mean definitely did well on this model I
really have nothing else to say I other
than if you need a good acoustic guitar
by all means go and get it I mean you
will not be disappointed at all this
guitar blew my mind so that’s my
thoughts on this review and this guitar
and I hope to see you guys for another
review

Takamine G-Series Guitars

The Takamine G-Series guitar is one of the most sought-after models of guitars today. The G series includes five different models including the G1, G3, G4 and G5.

Takamine G-Series guitars are made in a wide variety of designs and colors that will appeal to any musician no matter what type of music they play or how old they are. There are five different models that each feature a unique sound, which means that there is something for everyone.

The Takamine G-Series also has a great reputation for its quality construction and it is considered to be one of the best products on the market. Takamine has been producing guitars for many years and their reputation can be attributed to their durability and build. They have always been there when it comes to making sure that their products are top of the line. They will never compromise their work for the sake of popularity.

The Takamine G-Series offers many advantages to musicians that they are hard to beat. These features include a solid body and a neck that are long enough for the strings to be comfortable with. This means that you don’t have to sacrifice comfort when playing.

Another feature that you will want to look for when you are looking for a new guitar is the pickups that these guitars feature. With the pickup placed directly on the fretboard, there is less resistance between the strings and the pickup when the strings are struck. You won’t have to worry about an uneven pickup surface. When you are able to keep your guitar in tune better, this will also help you make better guitar playing.

It should be fairly easy to see why guitar players of all skill levels prefer using Takamine guitars. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding and you won’t be disappointed with your purchase. If you are looking to buy a high-quality guitar for a low price, the Takamine G-Series may just be the right choice for you.

The Takamine G-Series is not perfect, however. Some guitars in this series do have a few flaws that can easily be fixed. One of the main flaws is that some of the screws holding down the pickups are loose. Since this is a common problem on guitars, you can easily replace them yourself.

If you have a problem with the strings falling out of place, you should take care of this problem as soon as possible so that the guitar will sound its best. In order to do this, you must loosen the string retaining clips which hold the strings in place and this can be done by simply pulling on the strings.

Since many people like to get a guitar that is very durable, make sure that you take your time and find a guitar that has an excellent rating.

Takamine G-Series Guitar Buyer’s Guide

Takamine G-Series acoustic guitar

The Takamine G-series acoustic guitar is one of the company’s more popular lines of guitars. It features a very nice, light sounding sound, and it has a “warm” tone that many guitarists appreciate. Takamine describes the guitar’s sound as having a combination of alder, maple, and birch. The guitar models in the G-series all feature solid bodies and a front cutaway body. A two-piece body construction is also featured on some models.

One thing I must mention about the guitar is that the sound it produces may not be for everyone. Another positive factor, however, is that Takamine makes several models of the G-series in different price ranges, so a person with a particular need can find the guitar model that meets their needs without necessarily having to pay hundreds of dollars more than they would for a regular guitar. Some of the higher priced models have a lot more features than other models, and they also usually have better finishes. Some models have humbucker pickups, and other features, but the price will vary greatly by model.

If you are looking for an acoustic guitar with a good tonal balance and a nice warm sound, then the Takamine G-series might be just what you are looking for. Takamine also makes a few instructional DVDs for the guitar, which can be helpful for those who do not have much experience with playing an acoustic guitar. This is also a good choice for someone who is learning to play an acoustic rather than buying one. The DVD would also help for a novice player who might not know any frets and might need some help learning how to read the notes on the fret board.

Takamine G-Series acoustic electric guitar

Takamine G-series acoustic electric guitar is a great tool for you to start learning the ropes when it comes to electric guitar. The Takamine G-series acoustic electric guitar comes with a preamp as well as a guitar strap for easy transportation. However, the Takamine G-series does not have the credibility and reputation that other popular brands have built. If you are looking for a reliable and good looking guitar, then Takamine may be the one for you.

Takamine makes guitars that work great for beginners, intermediate, and professionals. So, if you are a beginner looking to buy your first electric guitar, you should really check out the Takamine G-series. Takamine G-Series guitar case

Takamine G-series guitar cases are quite popular among guitar players of different levels. They are known to be extremely sturdy, durable, and easy to take care of. For a beginner guitar player, it is important to keep his guitar in the best possible condition, as damage to the guitar may slow down learning considerably.

A Takamine G-series case is well designed in such a way that it protects the guitar from almost any sort of wear and tear. In fact, even scratches can be easily taken care of, as these cases are quite stylish as well. This is because they come in many different colors, making them appropriate for both classical and jazz music genres.

In order to keep the case dust-free, it is important to clean it on a regular basis. The G-series model comes with an assortment of cleaning solutions, all of which are ideal for removing sweat, oil, and dirt from the case. This is why a guitar player can simply place the case on the floor when not in use and then just use the cleaning solutions on the spots that he wants to get rid of. The G-series case will then remain spotless.

3 verified buyer reviews
  1. This guitar is fantastic; it sounds fantastic! The next one will also be a Takamine.

  2. This 12-string has the feel of a 6-string. The neck profile is small (like my Seagull Entourage 6-string) with a slightly wider nut diameter to handle the 12 stings. The action is also very low, with no fret buzz right out of the box. Takamine must have excellent quality control. It appears to have been set up to follow certain stringent specifications and was measured by two independent inspectors prior to shipping (little inspection card attached with measurements at various fret positions).

Fret job looks good when appropriately dressed (there are no sharp edges sticking past the finger board).

This is by far the most simple 12-string I’ve ever played. It came with tens, and I have no trouble playing barre chords. I used to put 9’s on my old 12 string to help with barring, but it only helped a little because that old guitar had such a fat neck profile. This Takamine isn’t going to get any 9s. The sound on the guitar is well-balanced.

What’s the problem with it? ….There’s nothing to be worried about; the electronics/tuner are in an uncomfortable position, but it’s functional. The tuner has an auto-off feature that turns off too quickly, so I have to turn it back on two or three times before I get through all 12 strings. I don’t mind because I have more expensive guitars that if you fail to switch off the tuner before putting it away, it will remain on and drain your battery. It is manufactured in China, but who cares because the standard is on par with that of a guitar made in the United States. You could spend $1000 more on Guild/Taylor/Martin and still not get anything as cool. Takamine has swayed me.

  3. At 68 years old, I am an elderly beginner just beginning my guitar journey. After discussing my desire to learn to play the guitar with a musician friend, she showed me her Takamine, which is a few steps higher than this one. I’ve fallen in love with this guitar after two years of playing, well, not really playing, but trying to learn. As for any beginner, you’ll need to break in your fingertips, but even without an amp, the sound is full of tone. I still have a long way to go, but this guitar is great for a beginner.
