Pretty Lights Announces Double Header Red Rocks Shows, Proclaims Them As Biggest Shows Of The Year

Colorado’s EDM megastar, Pretty Lights, has two (2) shows scheduled for August 17th & 18th, 2012 at the world famous Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Announcing the shows via the PL Facebook page, frontman Derek Vincent Smith hyped the shows and urged fans not to hesitate on purchasing tickets by saying “You know I always bring out the big guns in my home state of Colorado. Tickets sold out in a flash last year, so get them early!” See the screenshot below.

No support acts have been announced yet but our guess here at TreeThugger.com is that the two shows will feature the full artist roster from Smith’s record label, Pretty Lights Music. As of this writing, those artists are: Gramatik, Michal Menert, Paper Diamond, Paul Basic, Break Science, SuperVision. Beyond those acts, we would also put our money on one or two other big name heavy hitters to be added to the bill.

Ticket pre-sales begin on March 29th at 10am MST here: http://plmusic.pl/rrpre.

At a time when music lovers from almost all subcultures and genres are finding common ground in the basic form of bangin’ beats, Pretty Lights is giving the people what they want; electro organic cutting-edge party rocking beats that fill venues with energy and emotion and send dance floors into frenzies. And the people are responding. Pretty Lights’ six albums have been downloaded over a million times from PrettyLightsMusic.com.
