Iconic shoe company Converse has launched a new project called ’3 Artists, 1 Song’ and their first release features Gorillaz, Andre 3000 and James Murphy.

“DoYaThing” is the name of the track and the collective have just released an animated music video to accompany the beats.

Directed by award-winning designer and Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett, the video blends the animated world of the Gorillaz with real life shots. The video tracks in at just over 5 minutes and features the animated Gorillaz members Murdoc, 2-D, Noodle and Russel along with Hewlett’s graphic interpretations of Andre 3000 and James Murphy.

The video is strange, to say the least… Its oddly dark and twisted yet the tune is upbeat and bouncy. You are bound to cringe once or twice while watching but I doubt you will stop- it is captivating in a very unique way.

Watch the video below then make sure you download the track free from converse.com
